All Boy!

Okay, that face is compliments of my dad, Tata Grassman. He taught him how to make that face when we were in Florida over the holidays. In Rhett's mouth is a gerber cookie... he always puts it in his mouth, holds it there and knaws until it is gone. Hands free. It frees him up to play with the rocks.

Tonight we went down to check on the restaurants and walk around. Rhett went from place to place digging the rocks. He likes to dig them up and then put them in my hand. Nice. In this picture he had hit the jackpot. Little pebbles and stones all within arms reach!!

My Little Book Worm

Here are some more pictures of this morning. Rhett always goes into his room and takes out ALL his books. They go all over the floor and he moves from one to the other looking at all the pages. We even keep them in the car now. (mostly to try an keep him distracted from wanting to watch his DVDs!!) I think we have spoiled him with his car movies... blue's clues are his FAVORITE and we have EVERY word and song memorized. UGH! Look what we have done! Anyway, hoping that the books in the car will start to keep him from wanting movies. I don't even know what's new on the radio anymore!!
Everyday he spreads them out, and every day I put them back.

Okay, let me explain this one. I guess since Rhett sees Mike and I get out the coffee creamer every morning, he kind of has a 'thing' for the bottle. He even tries to get it when we are at our friends' houses. (everyone has the same bottles since we all shop at costco!) Anyway, when we finished this one I cleaned it out and let him lay with it. I think he carried it around for 30 minutes this morning... like it was a treasure! I just get the biggest kick out of how the littlest things make him so incredibly happy :)

Where's Daddy?

Every day when Mike disappears into the bathroom, Rhett goes to the door and tries to look under. It is so funny how he tries and tries to see him... even sticks his hand under the crack. When he hears the flush and the sink come on Rhett gets up and tries to reach the door handle. Rhett stumbles in as Mike opens the door and then quickly hugs his legs. He just LOVES his daddy!!

AHHHHH!! I just adore this picture of him trying to find daddy!

Pool Fun!

Isn't his little swimmy suit sooo cute?!!! I am not a big fan of how it works (floats up into his chin when in the water) but it's good for safety.

Monday we walked up to our community pool with some of my girlfriends and their kids. it was super hot out with absolutely no breeze, making it a perfect pool day. I bought a swimmy suit for Rhett over the weekend and wanted to try it out. He wasn't too thrilled about the water (a bit cold) but he had a blast dipping his cups and watering can into the baby pool and pouring them all over :) We had such a nice time!!

Beach Baptism Sunday!

Sarah, Pastor Wiles, Rori, Tosca and Joshua just after being Baptised at A-Bay

Look at how hard he is concentrating on what he is doing.... so cute!

Last Sunday was another Church day at the beach :) We had a huge turnout and 3 of our great friends were Baptised, as well as our friend's son. Rhett was a bit sick, so he just sat and played in sand. He did go in the water for a while, but it was pretty cold!
