Little Fishy!

Rhett has become sooo brave around the water lately. (Kind of scary) Yesterday he was swimming his little heart out all around the pool at Oma and Opa's house. He had no fear! We still need to work on swallowing all the water while he is laughing though ;) I think he will be swimming on his own be the time he is 2!! He is definitely 'his mother's son' when it comes to the water!

2nd Regatta

We had our second regatta in Kona on Saturday... this time I got to race!! Our Novice B Wahine (Women's) crew placed 4th out of 11 boats (only 2/10 of a second from 3rd) Whoohoo!! I was the stroker (seat 1) and it was a tough race! We race the Koa wood boats which are significantly heavier than the fiberglass ones we practice in... I felt like I was going to loose my breakfast after sprinting only 1/4 of a mile! We did great, but next time we will medal!!!

Kona Pier : The weather was MUCH better this week!

Honu Watching

Can you see it??
Everette and Ikaika

Friday Rhett and I joined Beth and her family for a day at the beach. This particular beach is our favorite because it is so calm and perfect for little people ;) Everette got a kick out of the turtles (Hawaiian word: Honu) sunning themselves on the rocks!
