Sunday Brunch with Oma and Opa

You would think that all we do is eat out and go to the beach. I promise there is much more to our lives here ;) We had a wonderful Sunday brunch at the Hapuna Prince Hotel. I certainly had my fill of lobster, shrimp, sashimi, and sinful deserts!!!! Rhett, Mike and I went for a 4 mile walk last night to compensate!

Rhett's New Trick

On Friday I put Rhett down for a long nap and when he woke up I heard him playing and talking on the baby monitor. After a few minutes I went in his nursery and found him sitting in his crib just smiling and laughing. As I walked closer, I found that he had removed his diaper, was holding himself and had gone peepee all in his crib. Ofcoarse I ran to get my camera and by the time I got back he was standing. I edited these pics... didn't want to get in trouble for posting a naked baby on the internet.... but you get the idea! Oh boy! I guess it could have been much worse ;)

Rhett was getting Grammy nice and tired for her flight!

We went for a long walk and stopped at the school playground before mom left so that she would sleep well on her 11pm flight home.

Mom's Farewell Dinner

Last night mom took us to dinner at Brown's Beach House out at the Fairmont Orchid Mauna Lani. It is right in the beach that we have been going to this past week. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner and an even better sunset!! Rhett was a riot... just a ham for the camera all night!

Vacation Bible School

I have been volunteering for the snack team at our Vacation Bible School at church. The theme is "Game Day". Mom dressed Rhett up in a baseball outfit for the occasion... sooo cute!

Another day at the beach with Grammy...

Well, mom's visit has sadly come to an end. We made our last trip to the beach on Sunday. Mike did some snorkeling and we tried to keep up with Rhett. He is soooo full of energy!!

Pool, Tub, Nap

Today was a hot one out here, so we headed over to Oma and Opa's pool to cool off. The water was cold, but Rhett didn't seem to mind!

Mom has been giving Rhett his bath every night. He just doesn't want to sit down.... to interested in the faucet. Now that he can pull himself up he never wants to stay in a sitting position.

Naptime.... he has definitely been napping long and hard since mom got here. She has been wearing him out! (mom has been napping too... I guess he wears her out too!!)

First Haircut

Rhett got his first hair cut yesterday by his Opa Kost! Mike's dad was a barber a long time ago and always cuts Mike's hair. We thought it would be cute to have him give Rhett his first cut!

Hanging out with the Grandmas

We had a great day at the beach again today, but this time Rhett got to hang out with both GrammyLia and Oma! Boy, did he get tons of attention. Mommy got time to just relax in the sun ...... rare and very much appreciated :)
